Students from Rowan University Urban and Regional Planning program attended NPC23 in Philadelphia from April 1st through April 4th. NPC23 is the American Planning Association's national conference where thousands of planners gather to share their research, best practices, and knowledge about the planning field. The national conferences are held every April in major cities around the country. Our students were fortunate to have the opportunity to experience this event in their own backyard to reinforce the lessons they are learning in the planning field. Sessions, workshops, and presentations including land use, transportation, housing, environmental, sustainability, equity, climate change and all things planning were attended over the four-day conference.
