Department Chair Dr. Kevin Keenan is appointed faculty liaison to the New Jersey American Planning Association

GPS Department Chair Dr. Kevin Keenan is slated to become the first Rowan University faculty liaison to the New Jersey American Planning Association’s Executive Committee at the Committee’s next meeting in early July.  The Committee members voted unanimously in support of Dr. Keenan’s appointment at their last meeting, and the President of the Association has issued the appointment.  Dr. Keenan will join the esteemed group of planners from around New Jersey and other academics who provide direction for the state association.  The faculty liaison helps facilitate communication between the association and academic institutions, provides information related to research relevant to planning, assists with implementation of the annual conference in New Brunswick, and helps develop continuing education programs that advance the profession.
